Mike has worked for some of the largest financial institutions in the country including JP Morgan Securities and Wells Fargo Advisors in the areas of proprietary trading, equity research, and fixed income investment banking. At Wells Fargo Advisors, Mike partnered with the top telecommunications analysts in the country to value large cap telecommunication companies and provide buy, sell, or hold recommendations to retail brokers, institutional clients and the investment banking department. At JP Morgan, Mike structure over $3 billion in Native American enterprise and government transactions under a variety of capital structures including taxable and tax exempt bonds, syndicated bank loans, and high yield debt. Mike has also built extensive experience as a proprietary trader where he used complex financial modeling to develop and execute various trading strategies including pair trades, risk arbitrage, and leveraged hedge ratio and momentum trades. Mike graduated from the University of San Diego where he received a BA in Business - Magna Cum Laude, and a MBA with honors - Beta Gamma Sigma. Mike continues to take finance and accounting coursework through UCLA’s extension program. Mike also holds a Series 65 License.
